The health programme responsible for putting together the Lancashire and South Cumbria STP is set to hold its next formal meeting in public.
The decision-making committee of Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria is inviting members of the public to Venue 53 at the University of Central Lancashire this Thursday, March 2 at 1pm.
The committee – which is made up of Chairs from nine CCGs, GPs, representatives from various local authorities and Healthwatch – is responsible for making decisions about any future proposals across the area.
It is chaired by Phil Watson CBE, who is independent of the health organisations, and following the meeting there will be an opportunity for questions from the public.
As part of the Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria programme, 33 NHS and local government organisations along with Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector partners, are all working together to improve health and patient care.
The Together a Healthier Future programme – running across Pennine Lancashire – is one of five local partners that make up the wider Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria programme.
