Rossendale Council is backing Small Business Saturday, taking place this Saturday December 2.
Small Business Saturday UK is a not-for-profit, grassroots campaign which exists to support, inspire and promote small business on the first Saturday in December each year and beyond.
The campaign encourages businesses to promote themselves and work with others to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
Throughout the day on Saturday, Rossendale Council will posting a series of short video clips on social media highlighting local Rossendale businesses from a variety of sectors by the people who own and run them.
The owners involved will talk about why Rossendale is a great place to work and why they feel so strongly about the local small business community.
Organisations from the likes of Haslingden, Rawtenstall and Whitworth will be showcased.
If you would like to get involved on the day follow the Council’s social media accounts and use #SmallBizSatUk
