Are you over 25, looking for work and living in Bacup? Do you want to get outside and learn new skills?
If so you might be interested in a new environmental project called MyPlace starting this week at Stubbylee Park.
It will see participants attend weekly sessions at the park, getting involved in practical conservation, bushcraft, mindfuness and other nature activities.
Support will also be given to help participants into further training and/or employment.
A Taster Day is being held at the park on Wednesday, December 13, from 10am – 1pm. Meet at Stubbylee Hall carpark.
Myplace is being run by Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, funded by The Big Lottery Fund via the Our Bright Future campaign and European Union Structural and Investment Funds.
For more details contact Rebecca on 07717 366816 or email rwitcombe@lancswt.org.uk
