Welcoming the news that the famous locomotive is coming to the borough, Councillor Alyson Barnes, Leader of the Council, said:
“I am really excited that the Flying Scotsman is visiting our borough. Last time the nation’s favourite locomotive came here, it created a real buzz. I would urge everyone to take the chance to see this important piece of history.”
