Rossendale Businesses are invited to apply for funding to install Electric Vehicle Charging points at their premises.
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) gives vouchers to businesses to support upfront purchase and installation costs for electric vehicle charging points. There is £300 available per socket available, which will need to be installed by an OLEV approved WCS contractor. Funding can be claimed for a maximum of 20 sockets.
Applications for the vouchers are through scheme administrators, DVLA who will email a voucher ID to those who are given a grant. This can then be issued to the OLEV contractor to redeem once the works have been signed off by a WCS manufacturer. Vouchers must be redeemed within a four month period.
