Help the Council’s scrutiny committee develop their work programme

Each year, it is the responsibility of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee to select topics for inclusion and consideration in the annual work programme. Deciding the topics for the year is a key aspect of the overview and scrutiny process.

The aim of overview and scrutiny is to add value to the work of the Council and produce worthwhile outcomes for local people. A structured approach to topic selection is essential. To help in developing this year’s work programme we would welcome your feedback on what you would like the Overview and Scrutiny Committee to consider/review.

Ideas can be emailed to democracy@rossendalebc.gov.uk along with an explanation of why the issue is important and relevant, or by completing a form.

You can also picked up form from the One Stop Shop, Futures Park, Bacup.

Deadline for submissions is by Friday, April 27
