Electoral Register – Annual Canvass 2018

Don’t lose your voice, look out for your household enquiry form in the next couple of weeks.

Rossendale residents will soon be receiving their annual household enquiry form which ensures that Rossendale Borough Council can keep the electoral register up to date and identify any residents who are not registered so that they can be encouraged to do so.

With local elections taking place in Rossendale in May 2019, this is an important opportunity for residents to make sure they can take part and have their say on matters that affect them.

When you receive your form, please check it carefully and return it as soon as possible, even if there are no changes to make to the information.  It will save the council time and money if you use the online or telephone services rather than posting the form back.

People who have moved address recently are particularly encouraged to keep an eye out for the form and check the details.  Being on the electoral register can also improve your credit rating.

Any resident who needs help to complete the form or needs further information can call the Elections Office on 01706 252446/5 or email elections@rossendalebc.gov.uk
