Rossendale businesses can boost their digital skills at a free event hosted by Rossendale Council and Google Digital Garage at Futures Park, Bacup, on September 27.
Four workshops will take place during the day covering the topics: how to build a digital marketing plan, an introduction to digital advertising, social media strategy and writing for social media.
Google Digital Garage allows people to learn free digital skills to help them find a job, gain career skills, grow their business and boost their confidence online.
Councillor Alyson Barnes, leader of Rossendale Council, said:
The Google Digital Garage visiting Rossendale is a great opportunity for our businesses to gain new skills and knowledge so they can reach more customers and increase their business potential.
Ronan Harris, Google UK and Ireland managing director, added:
In the digital age a basic understanding of how the online world works is useful – but when it comes to business, it’s essential.
We are delighted to bring the Google Digital Garage to Rossendale to ensure more people have access to free digital skills workshops and one-to-one coaching.
