Help the Council’s scrutiny committee develop their work programme

Published April 3, 2019 at 14:35

Each year, it is the responsibility of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee to select suitable topics for inclusion and consideration for its the annual work programme. Deciding the topics for the year is a key aspect of the overview and scrutiny process.

The aim of overview and scrutiny is to add value to the work of the Council and produce worthwhile outcomes for local people. A structured approach to topic selection is essential, and therefore as part of this process and to assist in the development of the 2019/20 work programme we would welcome your feedback on what you would like the Overview and Scrutiny Committee to consider and review.

Ideas can be emailed to democracy@rossendalebc.gov.uk along with an explanation of why the issue is important and relevant, or by completing a form.
