When Alyson met HARRI…

Council Leader, Cllr Alyson Barnes was a visitor to the HARRI truck, the NHS’s health and wellbeing engagement vehicle at Rawtenstall Market on Thursday, August 29.

The mobile truck is an initiative by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and has been all around East Lancashire.

It is kitted out to provide a full range of advice and information about various health initiatives.

Staff on site can advise on information relating to: smoking, diabetes, mental health and more. The vehicle also includes a private consulting area with disabled access.

HARRI is one of the many ways Lancashire Care NHS Foundation is using to reach out to communities to promote positive aspects of mental health and wellbeing.
