British Cycling’s free course helps you get the most out of Ride Social in Blackburn and East Lancashire.
British Cycling is on the hunt for new Ride Leaders to help inspire more people to get on their bikes and start cycling for fun. If you love cycling and want to support others to get riding, why not become one of our volunteers and organise group bike rides in Rossendale, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle or Ribble Valley.
British Cycling welcomes all kinds of cyclists on Ride Leader courses – as long as you have heaps of enthusiasm and you’re passionate about encouraging others.
The free, assessed one-day course equips you with all the knowledge you need to deliver fun and safe bike rides using Ride Social. Discover how to set up ace new routes, buddy up with like-minded cyclists and promote your rides.

Venue: Colne Park High School, Venables Avenue, Colne. BB8 7DP
Cost: FREE
After completing the course, you’ll receive British Cycling Ride Leader Level 1 certification and membership.
