If you are currently registered to vote you can take part in any election/referendum. For example, if you are registered to vote in the local/PCC elections on 5th May you can vote in the EU referendum on 23rd June. You DON’T have to re-register for the EU vote.
The important thing is to be registered – and you have until 7th June to do that if you want to take part in the EU referendum.
Go to www.gov.uk/registertovote – all you need is your National Insurance number.
