Lancashire Volunteer Partnership (LVP) and the NHS are working in partnership to support the next stage of the NHS run Covid-19 vaccination programme, and are looking for volunteers to assist at Covid Vaccination sites as internal and external marshals across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

These roles provide coordination of patients/patient flow and wellbeing inside and outside the venues, with the main focus on safe patient navigation of the site and safe entry and exit of the building. Volunteers can choose time slots to fit around their work and home life, with 4-6 hour time slots available seven days a week at various venues across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Key tasks include traffic and parking management, initial confirmation of verification to access the POD/site, checking that patients are in the right place and have an appointment, collaborating with external security and internal marshals, and helping to manage queues.

If you or anyone else is interested in this opportunity, please visit the LVP website to apply today https://bit.ly/3GBYFrW. Once you have been approved as a volunteer, you will be able to sign up to support a local site near you.
