Civic Pride are pleased to announce the formation of a new litter picking group – the Carrs Industrial Estate Team.

In April of this year our Haslingden division supported by some of our Rawtenstall regulars cleared over 280 bags plus huge amounts of larger detritus from across the Carrs Industrial Estate.Haslingden Carrs 1 low res  Civic Pride are pleased to announce the formation of a new litter picking group – the Carrs Industrial Estate Team.
Nothing lasts for ever and it was clear from the start that neither Civic Pride or the Council had the resources to maintain it in this happy state and so we mailed every business on the estate to ask for their support. The first reply came from Run-a-Mok, closely followed by MCT Brattberg, representatives from both companies joining the Civic Pride Litter Teams Manager last Wednesday to get the project moving.

Equipped with litter pickers, CP hi-viz vests, Health & Safety Handbook and a unique bag holder you’re likely to see members of their team out and about across the area working towards making the premier industrial estate in Rossendale a place to be proud of. After all, for many visitors its the first and last impression of Rossendale and so a clean environment is essential to help promote our valley and its many businesses.
