Happi Announce Community Party Plans Following Award Success

Rossendale won in both the group and individual North West rounds of the Britain Has Spirit Competition with Happi claiming the group winner’s prize and VIC’s Darren Horsnell claiming the individual winners prize.

With their prize from Britain Has Spirit, HAPPI are holding a Community Street Party to celebrate the 80th Birthday of the opening of Haslingden Baths from 2-4pm on Sunday 21st August 2016 in the playground of Haslingden Primary School.

There will be free food and entertainment, together with face painting, balloons, and an ice cream van. Lancashire Fire & Rescue will be attending with a fire appliance and XLerate will have a stall promoting family activity. The Party will be opened by the Mayor of Rossendale, Councillor Granville Morris.

The event promises to be a fun-filled afternoon with entertainment from Lighthouse Tai Chi, Az Kabile Tribal Dancers, Clitheroe Ukulele Orchestra and pupils from Helmshore Primary School.

Happi encourage the local Community to come and join them and celebrate!
