This year Marketing Lancashire are delighted to be returning to Blackburn Cathedral, the Cathedral of Lancashire, for this much anticipated celebration of Lancashire’s tourism industry on Thursday 10 November 2016. 2016 is a landmark year for the Cathedral of Lancashire, as extensive work to Blackburn town centre and the spaces in and around the Cathedral reach completion and Blackburn’s £30m Cathedral Quarter is born. Perhaps one of the highlights of the night will be crowning the Tourism Superstar Award, honoring individuals who are making a special contribution to tourism in Lancashire. We are looking for ‘unsung heroes/heroines’ who go the extra mile for visitors and/or the local tourism industry. It could be an individual who has given long and dedicated service or maybe a volunteer whose key motivation is a passion for their job. We are looking to you as a valued member to identify and nominate superstars you come across in your role – please click here to nominate .
If you are nervous or unsure about applying we have created a hints and tips section on the website with some useful advice – click here to view . Also, please remember, Marketing Lancashire are on the end of the phone if you have any questions or need advice.
The closing date is Monday 5 September 2016. You can follow the countdown and progress on social media #LTA16.
