Councillor Andrew MacNae, chair of Bacup THI Board, said after last night meeting about the public realm scheme: “I was very pleased with the number of people who came to share their views and I want thank everyone for taking the time to come to the meeting tonight. New CGI image of Bacup public realm scheme released

A new computer generated image of what Bacup town centre could like in the future has been released.

The image shows what the proposed public realm improvement scheme for St James Square will look like from the view of a pedestrian.

The Bacup Townscape Heritage Initiative is a £2m investment in the town to restore its historic character.
