Christopher Edward McTernan (50) of New Line, Bacup, has been ordered to pay £1,235 after abandoning his car at a pub in Stacksteads.
McTernan did not attend court and was found guilty in his absence of abandoning a vehicle prior to the 10th July 2019. It was recovered from the public car park opposite the Rose N Bowl public house Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, Rossendale.
The vehicle was a Toyota Yaris, registration number X824 EDB. He was ordered to pay a £440 fine, £150 legal costs, £425 investigation costs and £220 compensation.
