Crowds gather for the 2017 Bacup and Stacksteads Carnival

Organisers of Bacup and Stacksteads Carnival will be holding a quiz at the Rose ‘n’ Bowl in Stacksteads on Wednesday, January 24 at 7pm.
The quiz has been held for the past three years and has become a major fundraising event for the June carnival.
Last year more than 100 people attended and helped to raise more than £450.
Places must be pre-booked by Friday January 19, cost is £5 per person that includes meat or cheese pie supper and teams can have up to four members.

Bacup and Stacksteads Carnival is run by BASCO and the traditional event was relaunched in 2010 by a group of volunteers following a six year absence from the town.
