Rossendale Council is sending its warmest congratulations and best wishes to record breaking gold medal winner Tom Hamer.
The 19 year old from Rawtenstall races to glory in the S14 200m freestyle swimming event at this year’s Commonwealth Games.
The Mayor, Councillor Colin Crawforth, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled for Tom. We have so much great young talent in the borough and Tom is a fine example of that. On behalf of the Borough, I would like to say how proud we are of him.”
