We are pleased to announce that the Rossendale-based Ekah Foundation has come on board as the sponsor of our Invest in Rossendale launch on September 6.
Dragons’ Den star Piers Linney is the guest speaker at the event at which takes palce at The Riverside, Whitworth, from 5pm to 8.30pm.
The foundation explains more about what it does and why it is backing Invest in Rossendale.
The Ekah Foundation is a non profit organisation founded in 2016 by the British humanitarian and educationalist Sri Ramana Devi. We offer educational and self development tools that support people, particularly people facing mental health issues. These help eliminate stress and foster deep and profound inner peace.
Sri Ramana Devi has lived in Rossendale for nine years and has invested a huge amount of time and resources successfully serving people and communities with their self development.
One project we have is the 5 Pathways Purpose Training. It is a dynamic consultation approach that draws out the positive attributes people have within themselves, but don’t always have a means to express, then empowering them to set up their own social service project. The programme is done with individuals, organisations and business. It enables them to achieve their full potential.
We would love to be involved in making Rossendale a thriving place to live, with jobs available for all people to earn a living and express their full potential. We felt that the Invest in Rossendale event was the perfect opportunity and we wanted to offer our sponsorship to help support the work it is doing.
The Invest in Rossendale launch will celebrate the contribution that businesses make to the borough. It is open to Rossendale businesses and budding Rossendale entrepreneurs, and also includes a Question Time-style panel and a networking buffet.
Tickets cost £10 plus Vat and include a hot buffet. Book by clicking here.
