Grants of up to £750 are available to help provide activities for children, young people and families.
The deadline for the latest round of applications to the Rossendale Community Fund is October 8.
The fund was set up by Rossendale Borough Council in partnership with the Community Foundation for Lancashire. It offers grants to support projects which help children, young people and families people to get involved in community activities and learning. This includes education, training, sports development, arts and cultural activities, as well as play provision for younger children
Local registered charities, social enterprises and constituted community groups are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a physical base and a track record of delivery within Rossendale.
Rossendale Council leader Alyson Barnes said:
The council values the many services that local organisations provide for families, children and young people. We are very pleased to be able to continue to support local projects through the Rossendale Community Fund.
