The Council has released an update on the sale of Haslingden Baths as well as issuing a warning for people not to enter the building.
In a statement, the Council urged people not to access the site as it is unsafe and urged if nearby residents see others trying to get in to contact the police.
The statement read: “The building is being sold with the deal being finalised by solicitors.
“Once the sale has been completed, we will of course update residents.
“However, we have become aware that there are reports of people trying to get into the building.
“We urge anyone thinking about doing so to think again. Given its past use, it’s a very dangerous environment. People could get seriously injured or even killed. It is also a criminal offence to trespass.
“The Council is looking at ways to improve the security of the site but we would ask if anyone witnessing any inappropriate activity or behaviour around the site, they should contact the police immediately.”
