The Mayor of Rossendale, Cllr Granville Morris joined the leader of Rossendale Council, Cllr Alyson Barnes and members of Haslingden Task Force for the launch of the new Haslingden branding, website and Town Trail on Tuesday 14th March at Haslingden Library.
The branding includes the strapline Haslingden: Small Town Big Heart and the website features the main attractions and things to do in the town. There is also a ‘What’s On’ section that will be kept up to date with events in the town.
A map of the town centre showing the main features, including parking, is now on display on the outside wall of the library and flyers of the map are available inside the library.
The new Town Trail is an interesting walking route round the centre of Haslingden from Coal Hey to Greenfield Gardens highlighting the history of the town and the many old building that remain in the town centre, with photos of how they used to look.
Copies of the Town Trail are available from the library or can be down loaded from the website: www.visithaslingden.com
