Rossendale Council are encouraging people who may be at risk of becoming homeless to contact them directly to assess their needs and the options available to them.
Central Government have made limited additional funds available to assist those who find themselves struggling with homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless.

Rossendale Council has welcomed news that it will receive funding to support people who are homeless, living on the streets or begging.
The funding will cover a continuation of what is known as the ‘rough sleeper case navigator service’ – an outreach street team working with people living on the streets for 2020 to 2021.

New stats show Rossendale Council’s approaches to reducing and preventing homelessness is making an impact.
The new stats were published as part of a review of how the Council was doing in implemented new legislation to tackle homelessness.
The Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 placed new legal duties on English councils so that everyone who is homeless, or at risk of homelessness, has access to meaningful help.
