Information following the Government’s announcement on Friday about easing of restrictions in Rossendale

Published August 24, 2020 at 10:34

On Friday 21st August the Government lifted the additional restrictions which had been in place in Rossendale for the past few weeks. This takes affect from Wednesday 26th August.

This brings us in line with the rest of the country (except those areas which are still subject to local measures) and means that businesses which reopened across the country on August 15th can now reopen in Rossendale.

  • This includes; Tattoo studios, beauty salons, spas and hairdressers will be able to restart their remaining “close-contact” services, including facial treatments such as eyebrow threading, eyelash treatments and make-up application.
  • Indoor play areas, including soft play areas.

It also means that you are able to meet indoors in groups of up to two households (anyone in your support bubble counts as one household). This includes inviting people from one household into your home or visiting the home of someone else with members of your own household.
