Keeping the old as good as new

Bacup High Street Heritage Action Zone is holding a training seminar on 13 March at ABD Centre in Bacup, to give advice and guidance on caring for heritage properties.  

The session which has been arranged in conjunction with Valley Heritage,  will run for two hours from 10.30am and will demonstrate how to maintain paintwork, gutters, ironmongery and stonework; give advice on appropriate cleaning approaches and products for your property and advise on how to prevent building issues before they arise.  

Heritage experts Buttress Architects will hold an information session before giving a tour of real-life examples in Bacup. The tour will showcase issues heritage properties face and how to prevent them. 

Each attendee will receive a free breakfast and information guide to take home.
