If you are looking for long term employment and would like some help, you can contact the G4S ESF programme running in Rossendale and across Lancashire.
The programme runs every Wednesday at Rossendale Council Offices , Futures Park , Bacup at the “One Stop Shop” commencing Wednesday, March 7. Anyone can drop in and have an informal chat.
It offers a range of support for people on a one to one basis and participation is completely voluntary. Examples of the help that can be given are CV preparation, job applications, interview techniques and attendees can also access vacancies with local employers .
Once attendees have gained employment, support will continue during the first 26 weeks of work.
The Programme is funded by the European Social Fund and match funded by the Department of work and Pensions. It has been running since January 2017 and has already helped over 500 people into jobs
