Make sure you register to vote in time

Voters in Rossendale are being urged to register in time for local elections in May.  If you are already registered to vote there is no need to re-register.

The elections take place on Thursday, May 3^rd, and the deadline for receiving applications to register to vote is Tuesday, April 17^th.

The deadline for receiving new postal vote applications is one day later, at 5pm on Wednesday, April 18^th.  This is also the deadline to change existing postal or proxy votes.

The deadline for receiving new proxy vote applications is 5pm on Wednesday, April 25^th.

Residents will have the opportunity to go to the polls on May 3^rd to use their vote to elect Councillors for Rossendale Council
