Make sure you have a voice

Rossendale residents are being encouraged to return their household enquiry form.

The form ensures that Rossendale Council can keep the electoral register up to date and identify any residents who are not registered so that they can be encouraged to do so.

With local elections taking place in Rossendale in May 2019, it is an important opportunity for residents to make sure they can vote and have their say on matters that affect them.

Councils have to send household enquiry forms to every residential property between July and November. This year’s canvass ends on November 25 and staff have also been visiting residents who have not yet returned their forms.

Anyone who needs help to complete the form or needs further information can call the elections office on 01706 252446/5 or email elections@rossendalebc.gov.uk
