The Mayor’s Charity Concert will be held on Friday March 3rd 2017 at St. Peter’s Church, Haslingden, commencing at 7.30pm.
All proceeds are in aid of the Mayor’s Charity Fund.
Both the Rossendale Male Voice Choir under the musical directorship of Matthew Thomas and the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band, under the musical directorship of Graham Helm are performing a Special Mayors Charity Concert to support this year’s Mayor Councillor Granville Morris, Mayors Charity Fund.
Councillor Granville Morris said;
“I can’t thank the choir and band enough for their very generous and kind support the Mayor’s charity fundraising efforts. It will be a fantastic concert. I would also like to thanks everyone who has contributed so far.”
Tickets are £5 (which includes refreshments) these are on available via the choir, the band or by contacting Civic Services Officer, Stephanie Carroll on 01706 252427 or Granville on 01706 214672.
Tickets will also be on Sale at the Door on the Night.
This year’s charity beneficiaries are:
■The Northwest Air Ambulance Services.
■The Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team.
■Veterans in the Community
Plus, we are looking to support other local charitable organisations.
We are asking the public to send in their nominations of where they would like to see, some of the Mayors Charity Fund Monies go to, that have been Raised by the Generosity of the Public Support. Send the name of the Charitable Organisation. To the Mayors Charity Committee,
