New online ‘how to’ guides have been published to give tenants, landlords and leaseholders in Rossendale all the information they need to safely rent or lease a property.
The ‘how to’ series is published on the Government website and comprises various checklists describing how to let, how to lease, how to rent and how to rent a safe home.
The guides are part of a commitment to providing decent and safe places for people to live and to ensure everyone from tenants, landlords and letting agents know their legal responsibilities.
They have been put together by professional bodies including landlord, tenant, letting and managing agent groups.
