WE ARE CURRENTLY IN TIER 3. HOWEVER FROM THURSDAY 5TH NOVEMBER WE WILL BE ENTERING A NEW NATIONAL LOCKDOWN, FOR FUTHER DETAILS PLEASE VISIT GOV.UK
The current restrictions have seen bars and pubs close from Saturday 17 October. Other businesses are also affected which include; bingo halls, bookmakers and betting shops, car boot sales, soft play areas adult gaming centres (amusement arcades), licenced clubs e.g. working men’s clubs and similar social clubs. There is financial support available now to businesses that have been forced to close under Tier 3 guidance. Further discretionary funding has been negotiated with National Government and the final criteria for this are being determined.
From the 5th November a national lockdown will come into place. This will require people to stay at home except for essential reasons. It has been confirmed that the current Furlough Scheme will be extended for this lockdown, however we are waiting to hear what extra financial support will be available to businesses.
The links above provide information on the current support being offered to individuals and business along with how council services will be affected by the National Lockdown.
