There is now even more time to nominate people and groups who are tackling loneliness and isolation in Rossendale for recognition.
The deadline for nominations for the Living Well Living Better Awards has been extended to Friday (June 1) because of demand.
Rossendale was one of the local authorities chosen by the Government in 2016 to receive funding to pilot new ways of improving the health and wellbeing of local communities.
The council set up a partnership which chose to focus on isolation and loneliness, establishing the Living Well Living Better project. Grants of up to £1,000 were awarded to 68 community groups and organisations to fund a range of activities.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Riverside Centre, Whitworth, on June 20.
Nominations are sought in several categories. Forms are here.
