Update from Valley Heritage

Valley Heritage is a charitable organisation that works with communities and like minded  partners to share and celebrate this rich heritage and bring our decaying historic buildings back to life for future generations to enjoy.

Their latest update newsletters (below) update on the work they’ve been involved in with the Bacup THI Project, Heritage Open Days, Waterside Mill in Bacup amongst others.

Valley Heritage are also calling for trustees and volunteers to join them.

Are you passionate about Rossendale’s heritage?
Do you want to donate some of your time to help make a difference and do something positive for the Valley?
Do you have skills you want to share?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, please get in touch.
Valley Heritage are looking for volunteers to assist with events such as Heritage Open Day and trustees to join them.
They are particularly looking for trustees with the following:

  • A financial background
  • Experience of managing funding streams, monitoring and reporting
  • Legal expertise particularly in business, employment and charity law
  • Knowledge and experience of project management
  • Expertise in media and IT
