Rossendale Borough Council are working in partnership with MSV Homecare and Repair (formerly St Vincent’s) to offer funding that will help keep your home warm this winter.
The Affordable Warmth scheme is funded by Lancashire County Council’s Green Energy Fund, which set aside funds to support home energy saving methods to help people stay warm over winter.
Help will be offered to people who have underlying health conditions, low incomes or with high heating costs who can’t afford to heat their homes and/or in receipt of benefits.
Support comes in various forms including:
- Servicing, repairs and replacement boilers and heating systems and associated works, including controls.
- Repairs to and new radiators and radiator reflectors.
- Draught proofing measures – windows, doors, loft hatches, electrical fittings on walls and ceilings, suspended floorboards, pipework leading outside, ceiling-to-wall joints.
- Gas fire services and repairs.
To qualify customer’s must be owner occupiers or living in a privately rented accommodation.
